Question: my family has an ancestor who was in the escubia church. since we cannot spell it we cannot find it. it was supposed to be a catholic who became lutheran who became catholic again. do you have any idea about this or what it wuld really be called?

Dear Kathy:

The only thing I could find is a town called Escambia, Alabama. You might check with the Churches in that town. They may have information in Church records.
