pure heart books. | wilfred. | Friday, January 7, 2005 |
Question: Hello, Over the past few years I've heard quite a few priests mention, "You have to have a Pure Heart". After they mention that, they quickly go into some other subject. I think I know what they mean by a Pure Heart but was wondering why they don't explain what a pure heart is and how you keep one. I was wondering if there was any books by Priests or I guess by anyone solely about a Pure Heart? I think a pure heart means just having a good intention about everything you do. And not making assumptions about others and judging them. I know in the post to miquel about "Can't look up or down" you give 12 steps and they are very helpful but was wondering if they are any other books or sources one can purchase about a Pure Heart? |

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM
Dear Wilfred: The best book I know on the subject of "Pure Heart" is the book by Pope John Paul II called, Blessed are the Pure of Heart, a mediation of the Sermon on the Mount.
