My wife and I are totally obedient to Holy Mother Church and the Pope. Shes always had what is best described as an additional sense. She often has precognitions-dreams, flashes, visions, or her own internal voice. A good example is a dream she had about a year or 2 after we got married 11yrs ago. She described dreaming being in a strange city with people she didnt know, staying in a hotel and wandering about. She described EVERYTHING in GREAT detail.

We both found the dream very strange, but thought nothing of it until 2 or 3 yrs later when she went to a conference in Louisville-where shed never been. She described to me where she stayed and what she did. Her trip had followed the dream from years before EXACTLY. Even the 2 friends of recent acquaintance who accompanied were identical to the people in her dream. If she hadn’t told me about the dream at the time, and if I hadn’t remembered it for its peculiarity, it would have been unbelievable for me.

These things have been common throughout our marriage. She continuously identifies things before they happen, which I would put down to simple unintentional analysis of known events, except for the fact that she’ll say things without ANY preinformation. The frequency and accuracy make it impossible to call it coincidence.

Her mother also has similar instances of prediction, making us wonder if there’s a genetic component to this “affliction.”

Most recently, shes been getting visions from touch-At least 3 times in the past 2 months shes touched an object or shaken hands with someone and received a brief image of something about the owner/person. Shes found this most disconcerting and would like to know what to do. She has no control over it. It simply comes bursting into her consciousness, catching her off guard.

We understand divination is a sin so what does one do? Also from where does this come and is there any legitimate use? Could it be used to for God’s work? Should she try to control/prevent? If so how?
