The Daily Examination of Conscience | Edwin | Saturday, November 20, 2004 |
Question: Greetings in Christ! I've been searching for the obligations and duties of a lay Catholic on the Internet. I was particularly drawn to the fact that in almost all internet sources I've read about this topic, the daily examination of conscience was mentioned, but never expounded on. I've wanted so much to practice the daily examen, and I am looking for a formula for it that I can use and adapt for my own use. Numerous sources have pointed to St. Iganatius Loyola's "Spiritual Exercises", but I've founded it to be too complicated. Could you please point me to resources (preferebly in the Internet, but books are also fine) to help me learn how to do the daily examen? Thank you for your time, and God Bless ^_^ |
