Question:

Dear Brother Ignatius,

Could you please give me the definition of a spiritual liberal if there is such a thing? I seem to be all confused about it.

Thank you

Tannianly

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM+

Dear Tannianly:

Religious liberals, in a one-liner, are those who think they know more than the Pope. The set their own rules of orthodoxy apart from the Church.

Both those we call "liberals" and those we call "Ultra-Traditionalist" are BOTH liberal because they both have the arrogance to define their own brand of orthodoxy in rebellion to the Church.

For a complete description of Religious Liberal see:

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
