Feast of God the Father and Ronald L Conte Jr | Chuck | Wednesday, August 2, 2017 |
Question: Have you heard about the First Sunday in August to be celebrated as The Feast of God the Father? I have some relatives that are going to Ohio where there is supposed to be an apparition of Our Blessed Mother, but I know that it is run by Holy Love Ministries and this site was moved by the "visionary" in order to avoid any investigation by the Church. Now my relatives are going because Sunday it is supposed to be the Feast of God the Father. |

Chuck: I am not familiar with this private revelation. There is no feast day approved by the Church for this devotion that I am aware of at least or can find. It does appear that there are many doctrinal errors in this private relation. This is pointed out by several people, not just Mr. Conte. I haven't actually read the messages, so I cannot say personally, but if even a small portion of what he and others list is true, then the messages are not coming from God. We must always remember that no private revelation, even that of Fatima, is required for belief by the faithful, and no private revelation. even if approved by the Church, is required for our salvation. Although the local bishop said that the message were of divine origin, there are legitmate concerns about his bias since he is apparently mentioned in the messages. I would be very skeptical of this alleged seer. The Holy Love Ministries and seer, by the way, have been officially condemned by the Church. Sorry I could not provide more information about this. As for Ronald L Conte Jr, he makes a lot of predictions. I do not know if these are just human predictions as anyone can make or if he says this is prophecy. If he claims, and I do not know if he does, that his predictions are prophecies from God then he is a false prophet as he makes many predictions that do not come true. The predictions of a genuine prophet always come true in accord with whatever condition God made for the prophecy. Even if he is publishing human predictions, his predictions are rather wild, mostly wrong, and do not indicate a thoughtful person with the knowledge needed to make reasonable predictions on the subjects he tackles. He also predicts the return of Christ in 2437. This date-setting, in direct opposistion to Scripture, proof that he cannot be trusted at the least, and that he is a false prophet at the worse. In any case, I personally think the guy is a little short of a dozen. But, that is me. God Bless, Footer Notes: This forum is for general questions on the faith.
