Question:

I am a convert and this may sound like a stupid question,but here it goes.

I have seen the Mantillas (forgive me if I am spelling this wrong).I have seen ladies wear white ones and the black ones,I think they are beautiful.What do they mean colors and purpose?God Bless

The color of the mantilla as no significance that I know of. It is a matter of personal preference as far as I know.
