Question: It isn't like I don't have enough problems with clinical depression and anxiety attacks, and I am hoping I make myself clear. I am not well right now, so bear with me. |

Dear Lisa: I will pray for you concerning your medical problems. One of the things you need to do to avoid further depression and anxiety is to avoid listening to and reading these people who can be called the "fringe fundamentalist Catholics" who are not in communion with the Church. Vatican II was not an evil Council and those who go to the current Mass are not in a sect or are in heresy. These dissenters need psychiatric help. Many of them are afflicted with Scrupulosity, which is the religious form of Obsessive-Compulsive Personality disorder. Such people cause great division and factions in the Church, which is a sin. St. Paul tells us in Titus 3:10-11 ~
Ignore these people, Lisa. You are okay. Read your Catechism, practice your wonderful Faith and ignore these bozos; they do not speak for the Church and have separated themselves from the Church.
