Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OMSM(r), LTh, DD
Dear Gregory: The Great Catholic Monarch prophecy is private revelation that has not been approved by the Holy See. As such, it should be taken with a grain of salt. Private Revelation, even if approved, even if given by Saints, holds no obligation to the faithful to believe. A Catholic is free to accept or reject the Private Revelation. For me personally, I pay little attention to private revelations, even those that are approved. For those not approved, such as this one, I pay no attention at all. The faithful should not get the cart before the horse, but wait until, and if, the Holy See makes a ruling on it. God Bless, P.S. For those unfamiliar with this Private Revelation see the Catholic Register article by Pat Archbold. Footer Notes: This forum is for general questions on the faith.
