Question: In reading Genesis we can determine that Abram came from the line of Shem. My question would be is from which line did the Egyptians come from? Were they from Ham or from Japhet?

Dear Chas:

As recorded in Genesis 10:6-20, the Egyptians are descended from Ham and his son Mizraim. Mizraim is also known by the name of Egypt.
