Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OMSM(r), LTh, DD
Dear Susi: I sorry that you are not happy at your current job. The solution, of course, if this job is not satisfactory to you is to begin seeking another job. In the meantime, or if you stay with your current job, you need to look to the opportunities you have in this situation, instead of seeing them as problems. Now, what I am about to suggest is dependent upon whether or not your employee allows you to do things not work-related. Given all the time you have is a wonderful opportunity. Think of all the books you can read, study the Catechism, the writings of the Saints, etc. You could even sign up for online college classes. Since these classes on online and you have so much time available, you might take such courses. You could also participate in the Liturgy of the Hours, take an online bible study course, like those from Scott Hahn. In other words, do not see this as a problem, but as an opportunity. Think creatively on how to spend your time. With all that said, you may also want to seek other employment. We will be praying for you.
