Question:

Thank you so much for responding. I guess I'm just not understanding why if we pray to God, in the name of Jesus, and get what seems to be a "NO" we are to continue down through the line of saints.

There are lots of problems in my family, but we are certainly better off than many others. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I am praying for you, your health, your family, and all who ask for your help.

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OMSM(r), CCL, LTh, DD, LNDC

Dear Ron:

You have misunderstood what I have said. One DOES NOT "pray to God, in the name of Jesus, and get what seems to be a "NO" we are to continue down through the line of saints."

The Saints cannot do anything but God's will in their responses to you when you pray to the them. So, if God says "no" the Saints cannot say "yes." All things come from God, so the Saints cannot grant any request apart from God. Thus, if God says "no" the Saints will only remind you that God has already spoken.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
