Question: Dear Bro. Ignatius Mary, Is it considered contraception if the husband "pulls out" before the "pipe overflows" (so to speak) during intercourse within marriage? I don't really want to be explicit with this question, and I hope you understand what I'm asking (I think you do). My apologies for the silly question, but I have always been curious if this would be a another type of birth control. God bless and thank you for this forum. Joe |

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM+
Dear Joseph: Yes, it is sinful. It is depriving the openness to life in the marital embrace. Any action or method that prevents openness to life is gravely sinful.
