hi

is it sin to sell something that belongs to someone else if they probably wont actually come collect it or they dont really care

my cousin borrowed me a old video game and i kept it for a long time so i decided i was gona sell things but he has never asked me for it and doesnt play these games anymore

he has moved away so i dont really see him anymore and i dont think he really wants it back or would really care about this

Dear John:

An old video game probably is worthless. There may not be any machines anymore that will even launch it.

In any event, before you sell it or trash it, you need to make an honest attempt to locate the owner and ask what he wants done with it.

If you make an honest effort and cannot locate him, then do with it what you will.
