RE:Saint Image Candles & Intercession Prayer Crystal Friday, January 18, 2013

Question:

Dear Brother,

Thank you so much for your response to my original question. I just wanted to explain that the candles I described were not purchased from any occult or occult-related store, but from a general Grocery/Convenience store.

As for anything occult related, I do not have any items in my home as my faith is in God and I am a Christian.

However in my prayers to the Blessed Mother or any other Saint, can I continue to pray and if I do purchase any candles; they will be from a Catholic store.

Thank you so much for your advice.

God Bless,
Crystal

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OMSM(r)

Dear Crystal:

Candles purchased at a  grocery store is not likely to cause a problem. It would still be preferable to buy the candles at a Christian store to be safe.

All such items ought to be blessed by a priest, which should eliminate any spiritual problems, or at least bless the candle oneself with Holy Water. Most Catholic parishes have Holy Water available in the foyer for anyone to use. Just bring a bottle and fill it.

We are praying for you.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
