Question: Hi Brother, I have never heard of such a thing before and wondered if you have. A friend of mine told me he created his own god, a goddess, and whatever he asks of her he receives. Just who exactly is he worshiping or is it just the power of the mind? Also, a friend lent me a book (mythology and folklore) about Indian villages where demons moved into communities among the people and many worshiped them and payed respects to them rather blatantly. I asked her what that is about, if some of the demons are good. She said none of them are good, but they give good gifts so some worship them for the good things they will receive from them. Have you heard of such stories before? Demons who dole out the good gifts? Apparently unconditionally, as long as they are worshiped. I know different people worship differently, but I would like your expertise on both of the above. Blessings, Angel

While Moses was on the mountain getting the commandments from God, the people were below fashioning for themselves a god ion the form of a golden calf. False gods and demons are never to be worship. To do so is a the worse crime a human being an commit — violation of the First Commandment to worship no other god but the True God. The devil will sometimes give a person good things, but this is to seduce the person away from God. Whatever your friend receives from his false god comes from Satan. Hi Brother,
