Television Program and Pastor's suggestion Crystal Thursday, November 22, 2012

Question:

Dear Brother,

I was watching this program on the Biography Channel whereas, a young woman who was a Manager fired an employee who was Native American and he put a curse on her, causing the woman to be tormented.

She stated that she prayed using rosaries and eventually contacted a Pastor and told him of the situation. Because this woman was cursed and a Native American spirit was tormenting her; the Pastor said it was too strong for him to help her and suggested she contact a Shaman to break the curse.

I was surprised to hear this, as I've never heard of a Pastor, Priest and/or Reverend ever suggesting to someone to contact a person who dabbles in occult activity to help an individual break a curse.

However are there some curses that are so strong a member of the clergy or holy person cannot exorcise or remove?

If you could give me some insight about this, I would really appreciate it.

God Bless,
Crystal

Dear Crystal:

Any Christian pastor who advises a person to go to a shaman for any reason ought to be de-frocked. It is horrific that a Christian pastor would tell someone to go see the devil; and that is what he did when he advised this person to see a shaman. Shame, shame, shame on him.

God is more powerful than any curse. Anyone can pray a prayer to break a curse. We have such a prayer in our Breaking Personal Curses and Spells.

In some instances it can be very difficult to break a spell or curse. There are many reasons for this. The most often cause is that the person is not living the Christ-Life and thus not willing to resign themselves to Christ. Sometimes the reason is that it may be God's will that the person remain afflicted until they learn something God wants them to learn, or some other reason that only God know that is in the best interest of the person.

It should be noted that most curses and spells do not work. Most of the time the attempt to curse someone boomerangs on the curse-caster and they, instead of the intended target, is the one cursed.

Keep in mind that anything you see on the History Channel, Biography Channel, A&E Channel, or any other of those channels will not give you accurate information about the Catholic Church, or about spiritual warfare issues.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
