Question: I too used to listen to a non-Catholic radio station many years ago. However, there were some things that turned me off and I turned off that station. Thank God, we now have a Catholic Radio station. |

Dear Nathan: There is always a danger in listening to any non-Catholic religious radio station or TV station or website. Some people are no able to tune into Catholic stations on their computer and thus have available to them only non-Catholic stations in their local area. The songs played on non-Catholic stations are generally okay, but one still needs to be careful. The bible study, teaching, and preaching shows, however, will usually be actively anti-Catholic. It is best to listen to Catholic Stations. There are many Catholic Stations one can tune into over the Internet, a listing of which I included on the original post on this subject. We need to always be aware of influences that might lead us or our loved ones in a direction opposite to the true Church in the fullness of the Faith, which is the Catholic Church, and the Catholic Church alone.
