Question:

I agree that government shouldnt be a nanny state, especially to banks by bailing them out. Its because of their stupidity of being greedy that now so many have to depend on government.

By the way brother, I am not democrat, nor republican. I stand for what is just, which neither party are. I just really wish there was another party that would truly stand for the whole truth. Unfortunately what are the chances of that happening.

Question Answered by

Dear Beth:

I also have not a member of any political party, but I have been involved many years ago in a third party movement, which was successful in breaking the monopoly of the Democrats and Republicans by official designation by the government as a bonifide third party. That effort taught me something.

I was a member of the National Committee. At a meeting in Washington D.C. what I saw there, despite the promise of the party, was the same-o-same-o. The grass roots people in the party had high hopes, but I was in the National leadership and saw things for what they really were. In fact, since it was politics as usual, I left the meeting and walked about the Mall, visited the Vietnam Memorial, and stopped by Senator Grassley's office.

There will never be a perfect political party, but one thing is for sure, No Christian has any business as a member of the Democractic Party, a party that openingly supports the murder of babies, same sex marraige, and other intrinsic evils. Any Christian who votes for Obama will be gravely sinning.

While the Republican Party is not perfect, in comparison to the Democratic Party, it is an angel.

The Democrats treat us a dumb children and need to be cared for. Thus, the move to make citizens more dependent upon mamma government, and the prolifration of food police, energy police, politically correct police, and other "police" trying to micro-manage our lives. What is sung about in that song "The U.S.S. of A." is exactly where the Progressives/Liberals wish to take this nation.

The reason that this is a Faith and Spirituality issue, is that for the Progressives to solidify their power, Christianity must be restricted and controled. For example, the U.S. Department of Justice has argued before the Supreme Court that the federal government can tell churches and synagogues which pastors it can hire and fire.  A federal judge threatened to incarcerate a high school valedictorian if she did not remove references to Jesus from her graduation speech. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs banned the mention of God from veteran's funerals. A federal judge declared that prayers before a state House of Representatives could be to Allah, but not to Jesus. There is much, much, that this Obama government has done to marginalize and control religion, especially the Catholic Church. My Radio show this last Thursday talks about this. We are at war here. A War to invalidate the freedom of religion that the Constitution says we have. We better wake up, or we will have lost the freedom we enjoy to worship and to speak in the public square. That is the picture of what the Democratic Party, and specifically the head of the party, Obama, has brought us and hopes to continue.

Repubicans, as a whole, believe in traditional values, which are also Christian values. It is a major contrast to see Romney's compassionate and family values against the lack of values of Obama, who this past week sent form letters to the families of soldiers who where kill in the helecopter accident. He didn't even have the decency to personally sign the letters. The letters were signed by machine. The families are rather upset by this.

Just this one example is enough for any decent person to not vote for Obama.

Romney is not my first choice, though Ryan is a good choice for V.P., but he is the only alternative to the baby-killing, socialist, and anti-Christian Obama.

We must pray hard for the coming election.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
