Orthodox joining Catholic Church Father Smith Monday, January 23, 2012

Question:

The questions of marriage notwithstanding for the previous questioner. A Tribunal will help getting these squared away. For an Orthodox to come into communion with the Catholic Church merely requires a profession of faith and the formula of reception. The Orthodox, however, is enrolled in the Eastern Catholic Church even if a Latin Catholic priest receives the person.

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OMSM(r), L.Th., D.D.
