Orthodox joining Catholic Church | Father Smith | Monday, January 23, 2012 |
Question: The questions of marriage notwithstanding for the previous questioner. A Tribunal will help getting these squared away. For an Orthodox to come into communion with the Catholic Church merely requires a profession of faith and the formula of reception. The Orthodox, however, is enrolled in the Eastern Catholic Church even if a Latin Catholic priest receives the person. |
