Chaplet for the archangels. Suzanne Tuesday, October 11, 2011

Question:

Hey Brother,

I have started doing the rosary and I read the mysteries from this Catholic prayer book my husband had. I saw chaplets for the angels. I have such love for the angels I decided to do it. There's one for st. Michael which is my favorite angel. I have a st. Michael medal on a necklace that was given to me by my husband. I'm very confused on how to do the prayer honoring him. Do i need another rosary with his medal on it?

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OMSM(r)

Dear Suzanne:

The Chaplet of St. Michael is a great and powerful prayer for spiritual warfare or for our normal devotion. Pope John Paul II called Catholics to renew devotion to St. Michael and the Archangels.

The St. Michael Chaplet is different in its forumla than the Rosary, thus it has its own beads (which included a St. Michael medal).

You can find the St. Michael Chaplet Prayer here.

Buy St. Michael Chaplet beads here.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
