Question:

Hi Brother,

Several days ago, I was searching the internet trying to figure out whether or not the apparitions of Sr. Josefa Menendez had been approved by the church and I found this website: http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/praeternatural/
I was looking through it and I came to this section on Secret Societies and Subversive Movements (just scroll down on the left hand side of the screen). The fifth section is called Illegitimate Popes and the third article under that heading is all about how John Paul II is a illegitimate Pope because of several things. I found all the stuff I read really hard to believe because to me, our Pope seems like one of the best Popes ever. Also, I'm sure if he was an anti-Pope, Mary would have told Sr. Lucia from Fatima something about it (because I think she still communicates with her, although I may be mistaken). Anyway, the site says that Padre Pio rebuked JPII for working in theatre before becoming a priest. It also says that he has promoted other religions and universal salvation of all mankind. I am 99.999% sure that these are all false accusations made by someone in dissent with the church, but would it be possible for you to read the article and refute those claims so that I will feel more at ease?

Thank you very much.

Agnes

Dear Anges:

People who say that Pope John Paul II is not a legitimate Pope are insane or have IQs of about 25.

Ignore these nut balls and do not believe ANYTHING they say. That allegation that Padre Pio rebuking the Pope for working in theatre before becoming a priest is laughable and utterly wrong to the point of insanity.

I am sorry, but it would be wasteful to spend precious time refuting their accusations. To do that would be to give them respect where none is deserved.

When it comes to fools like this we need to remember the teaching of the Bible:

Proverbs 26:4  Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest you be like him yourself. 5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes.

The devil works through these idiots.

Flee from them.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
