Question: Dear Brother Ignatius, I hope you are well! :-) Hang in there Brother Ignatius, and know I always pray for your health and your ministry. I have to write in support of Ryan, and I hope he sees this letter, because I want him to know that I am praying for him to remain strong in his conviction. Evil will do all it can to lure us back in to our "old ways", but this gave me the feeling that it was an outright attack on Ryan---not a lure. Evil knows it is in a losing battle with Ryan, so it fell down like bratty child and had a tantrum. He has so many people who will pray for him and others who want to dedicate their lives to Christ. I certainly hope you don't mind me writing this, and God bless you always. Lisa
Question Answered by Dear Lisa: Thank you for your prayer for my health and ministry. My health is particularly problematic right now in the summer, which is why I am late in answering these questions. I generally do not recover from the heat until the last half of October, which is why I generally do not counseling from July - September. Your prayers are appreciated. I also thank you for praying for this young man who discerning his vocation. We need strong and bold priests. Ryan promises to be such a priest (assuming that will be his vocation). He will need strong and bold prayers to make it through seminary, in which there are usually liberal forces at work, and once ordained as the devil will fiercely attack any priest or religious who is a "no holds barred" advocate for the Faith.
