Question:

Bro. Ignatius,

Is this an approved Catholic web-site

Under this web-site listed below:

http://traditionalromancatholicism.org/Articles.html

“Traditional Roman Catholicism” there is a series of articles defining the Teaching and Doctrine of the Catholic Church.

One article, written by Father Michael Mueller C.SS.R., is titled “The Church and Her Enemies”. I have found this article to be extremely harsh with regard to the Protestant religion, and their alledged attack on our Roman Catholic Church.

My question is this, have I found a good Catholic web-site or one that is not in accordance with our Pope, Magisterium, and good Catholic teaching and doctrine?

Thank you, in advance, for your help,

John

Question Answered by

Dear John:

Websites are not given official "approval" since they are fluid, that is the information on them can readily change. So unless the website is owned and operated by the Church (e.g., diocesan and Vatican sites), they are not approved.

The website traditionalromancatholicism.org is not in communion with the Church because they deny the teachings on "No Salvation Outside the Church." They maintain that one must be a card-carrying baptized Catholic to go to heaven. All others go to hell. This is not Catholic Teaching.

There are probably other fatal errors in their beliefs, but I stopped looking when I came across their rebellion on this issue.

Thus, do not count them among the loyal Faithful.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
