Question: You are quite wrong in your position concerning Antipope Benedict XVI and Vatican II. Will you debate me on either one of those issues: Benedict XVI is not a valid pope or Vatican II contains heresies contrary to traditional Catholic dogma? |

Dear Mr. Dimond: That was fast. Your spies must be really on the ball. There is nothing to debate. You are a loony-tune. To debate you would be to imply that your point-of-view has potential merit. It does not. To debate you would be like debating against the notion the 2+2=5, or that the earth is flat. There is no reason to debate those issues because they are objectively wrong, just as you are objectively wrong. Thus, there is nothing to debate. You are not in communion with Rome and you are automatically excommunicated by virtue of your radical schism. In addition, according to Kevin A. Keenan, spokesman for the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo, your monastery "is neither part of the diocese nor the Catholic Church." The Rev. Dennis Mancuso, pastor of St. Patrick Church in Fillmore (the town Dimond is located), said, "I get calls all the time. People want to know if they're Catholic and I tell them no. I don't know what their status is, but they're certainly not Catholic. I don't know how they can claim to be remotely Catholic at all." There is nothing to debate. As my grandmother used to say, "Son, never argue with a teenager, woman, liberal, the mentally questionable, or the disobedient." You fit three of those categories: disobedience (the first "Tradition" is obedience), mentally questionable, and liberal. Yes, you are a liberal. As with all liberals you have the arrogance and pride of thinking that your opinions outrank the official Church. Actually, you fit four, since your behavior is much like a 14 year old. I will not waste my time, or give you a forum, or entertain you in any way. I agree with St. Paul that we should have nothing to do with your type. You are shunned in accordance with the teachings of St. Paul.
St. Teresa of Avila once said, "The more we see failure in obedience, the stronger should be our suspicion of temptation." St. Augustine said it best, "Lord, those are your best servants who wish to shape their life on Your answers rather than to shape your answers on their wishes."
