Question: RE: UNBAPTISED BABIES [FROM CONCEPTION TO BEFORE THE USE OF REASON ]; VATICAN QUOTE - WE EMPHASISE THAT THERE ARE REASONS FOR PRAYERFUL HOPE RATHER THAN GROUNDS FOR SURE KNOWLEDGE - END QUOTE I still feel that that we are striving to explain something that jars with our Feelings on the matter. Limbo hasn't been rejected entirely- it could still be theologically correct , i note from the Catechism But, don't you think the loved ones of these souls have a right to assume they will enjoy the Beatific Vision? i've also heard it said that because we have a duty to ensure our loved ones get to Heaven , then Abortion certainly achieves that aim -- so what's ALL the turmoil about ? the Abortionist is a Sinner like anybody else - all the person must do is seek Forgiveness ? |

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OMSM(r)
Dear Michael: You sure like to shout. You do yourself no favors by shouting (all CAPITAL letters). If you wish people to listen to you, then be courteous and stop shouting. In posting your so-called question, you identified yourself as a loyal Catholic. Yet, you charge the Church with discrimination against these babies. That is accusing the Church of sin. You are committing a sin by making such an idiotic charge. You need to submit yourself to Church teaching and stop the arrogant and presumptuous assertion that you know more than the church on the theology of baptism, the Beatific vision, and the state of unbaptized babies. Then to make matters worse, you come up with the insane notion that abortion (which is murder) can be used to ensure that our loved one's get to heaven. Sir, I think you need to visit a psychiatrist. Please do not post here again. God bless,
