Question:

Can the sin of 'incest', be forgiven in confession?

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OMSM(r)

Dear Joseph:

Any and all sins, no matter that they are, may be forgiven in the Sacrament of Confession.

Do not hesitate to go to Confession. God loves us and is waiting for us to ask Him for forgiveness.

1 John 1:9 gives the promise of God, and since God does not lie, we know for a fact the He keeps His promises:

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

So to all readers out there. Never hesitate to go to Confession no matter what sin you have committed. Your soul depends upon it.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
