Question: Hello, What guidelines, as Catholics, should we consider when evaluating for which Presidential candidate to vote this Nov.? In this election, one candidate Kerry (is pro-choice/pro-abortion/anti-life) and Bush is (pro-life/anti-abortion). However, suppose both candidates were pro-abortion / anti-life? Dear May: Since abortion is THEE fundamental matter if both candidates were in favor of abortion, then I would not vote for either of them.
