Question: Dear Brother - I have several cockatiels at home which I keep as pets. Very recently, I noticed something strange (mating behaviour). |

Dear Joe: Well, the female birds did not "mate", that is impossible. Rather they attempted to mate. Animals do not have a thought process here. They cannot choose to act in a homosexual way. They cannot commit evil as they have no free will to choose. Animals work on instinct and hormones. There is no "instinct" for homosexual behavior, however. To quote from the article linked below, "...animal cognition is purely sensorial, limited to sound, odor, touch, taste and image. Thus, animals lack the precision and clarity of human intellectual perception. Therefore, animals frequently confuse one sensation with another or one object with another".
