Question: For whom may Masses be offered? Catholics or Orthodox Christians only? Are the rules the same for the living and deceased? |

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM
Dear Melissa: As mentioned in the previous post on this subject, Mass Intentions may be made for the living, the dead, or to thank God for something. As to offering intentions for Catholics or others, it does not matter whether or not the Mass intention is for a Catholic, non-Catholic Christian, or non-Christian. Christ calls us to pray for all people. God Bless, Footer Notes: This forum is for general questions on the faith.
