Question:
I originally posted this question in the Spiritual Warfare forum and then realized this forum was probably more appropriate for this type of question. I have been a Catholic all my life, but have never heard anything with regards to this topic: Do pets go to Heaven? I realize that pets do not have free will like humans do, yet, they are basically good creatures and are also very comforting to us humans. Therefore, I would imagine that God may allow pets into Heaven as part of His reward to us humans who have led a good life. Am I way off-base here? I lost my pet a few days ago, actually on New Year's Eve,(yeah, happy New Year!) and have been thinking about this ever since. Thanks, Brother, for your response.

One note, there is no need post twice if the question is posted in the wrong forum. We have a utility to transfer a question from one forum to another. But, do please try to keep questions in the right forum
