Healed limbs which re-grew jeanmarie Wednesday, December 23, 2009

Question:

Hi,
I am trying to find details of a miracle granted to a farmhand who lost either one of or both...his legs when a farm vehicle ran over them.

He was allowed to beg for a living in the doorway of, and prayed for; healing at the church of the pillar of Zaragoza.

In time he returned to his parents farm and was well known to the locals as a beggar because of his injuries.

One morning, his mother entered his room and found him on the floor with both his legs complete. The scars on those which had been amputated and buried remained.

I think the King of Spain (Phillip?) invited him ot court so that he could kiss his knee - and an English dignitary was present who recorded the incident.

Its a query to answer those who say miracles don't happen because limbs never "re-grow."
Wondered if anyone was able to oblige with the correct details of the story ,as I cannot trace it. Thanks.

Dear Jeanmarie:

I have not heard this story, but found it recounted, that includes a picture of a certifying document from the 17th Century, in a PDF file entitled:

The Miracle of All Miracles in Calanda

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
