Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM
Dear Father: Yes, I mentioned the brother/sister possibility, though few seem to think that is possible. We live in such a sex crazed culture that the idea of a married couple living as brother and sister for any period of time is somehow a blasphemy and impossible to do. This is, of course, ridiculous. I guess passions are more important than God. In a direct way, sex has become a god. Nothing is more important than sex and people will risk their souls to hell for sex. Very sad. I have a great deal of respect, and I believe God will give great graces, to those couples of integrity who have gotten themselves in a mess, but now want to do the right thing and will do whatever is necessary to correct the situation as God wishes, even if that means living as brother and sister for a while.
