Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM
Dear Liz: Apparently Alan Ames has permission from his Archbishop to conduct a healing ministry so I guess he is okay as far as I know. He claims to exercise ALL of the charism gifts of the Holy Spirit, which I sincerely doubt. I do not know anything more about him. And I wonder what he means by "word of knowledge". Most people seem to define that gift the way that Pentecostals define it. Since he has permission of his bishop, and to give a talk in a local parish usually requires permission of the local bishop there should not be a problem attending his meeting.
