Question: im a recently divorced man for many reason soem my faillings some my wifes after 5 yrs or nmarriage...my ? is going to mass getting communion...what are the rules that apply to me? |

Dear Mark: Your question was moved to this Q&A from the Liturgy Q&A since the question is not about Liturgy. The only time you would be barred from the Eucharist is if you remarried without getting an annulment. The reason for that is that is you remarried without first getting an annulment you would be living in the sin of adultery. So, as long as you do not get remarried without first getting an annulment you may receive the Eucharist like any other Catholic, as long as you are in a State of Grace of course.
