Question: Just FYI: I live in the DC area and have seen Ted Kennedy at church many times. Believe me, he does NOT get denied Communion. In fact, one priest (no longer at that parish) once mentioned in his homily how great Ted Kennedy was for reading to troubled teenagers on weekends. Then a quick glance at my fellow parishioners revealed that Kennedy was sitting in the pews. I guess that homily was given for his benefit. Oh well. That's just the DC culture, I suppose. |

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM
Dear Ivonne: I do not doubt what you say at all. Fellow parishioners ought to write the Archbishop quoting from from Church and expressing concern about Ted Kennedy receiving Communion when he is a leader for pro-abortion legislation. Such letter needs to be business-like, rational, and to the point. We will be in prayer for Mr. Kennedy, the parish and its pastor, and the bishop. God Bless,
