Re: bread and wine for Mass Rosa Saturday, August 28, 2004

Question:

Concerning a previous writers comment:

"But I´m writing because of Rosa´s understanding that, if the Church wanted, She could authorize the celebration of Mass with pizza and pepsi, and that She uses bread and wine because of a need to immitate Christ."

Ack! Okay I feel like I need to clarify my intention with the pizza and pepsi comment in my question about the girl with the wheat allergy. It was an expression... the idea of a priest consecrating pizza and pepsi at Mass is absurd, as is the idea of the Host being made out of anything but bread, so I used the expression to relate the two. I didn't mean anything else by that.

I'm sorry for any misunderstandings that my wording may have caused... as you've said to me before, we can't predict how people will interpret what we say.
