Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM
Dear Heocon: Yes, a man whose wife has died, and has not remarried, is in single status and thus is free to explore the possibility of the priesthood. He will need to contact the Vocations director of his diocese to begin looking into the possibility of the priesthood. God Bless, Footer Notes: This forum is for general questions on the faith.
