Question: Greetings! I am 18 years old and I am discerning the seminary. I know many seminarians. would it be forbidden or innapropriate for me to "try on" a collared cleric's shirt out of curiosity? Thanks |

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM
Dear Bob: Sure, as long as you do not go public with it, but in the privacy of your own room you can do that. Keep in mind, however, that you have a long way to go before you can actually wear a clerical collar, if ever. There must be years of discernment and your vocation must be affirmed by the Church. We will be in prayer for your vocation as you discern what it is that God has for you. God Bless, Footer Notes: This forum is for general questions on the faith.
