Question: I have a question about the office of readings after Evening prayer. I've been praying the Office of Readings, for the current day, after Evening prayer; since it can be said at any time of the day. My question is this. On Friday night, after Evening Prayer, I pray the office of readings for Friday. Then comes Saturday night after evening prayer, if I want to pray Saturday's Office of Readings then I would be praying it after Evening prayer I for Sunday. Would this be permitted? Or to avoid this occurrence would it be best to pray the following day's Office of Readings? |
